Gordon Gamm
Gordon Gamm received his law degree at Tulane in New Orleans and was in a PhD Program at Kansas University in communication science. He has experience as a trial lawyer handling cases in trial courts, federal and state appeals courts, including Missouri and the US Supreme Court. He authored a law review article and several articles for The Humanist magazine and The Free Inquiry magazine. He was head of the law center for senior citizens at the legal aid & defender society of Kansas City before going into private practice in Kansas City and Boulder.
He is an active humanist. He served on boards of Missouri and Colorado ACLU, Boulder Philharmonic, Boulder Dairy Center, and the Colorado Music Festival. He established the Kansas City Film Society, The Bragg Symposium, the Gamm Comparative Law & Justice program at Tulane Law School, the Boulder International Humanist Institute, and sponsored the Boulder Jewish Film Festival. He initiated the Judicial Bypass program with Planned Parenthood, supported I Have a Dream programs, and created an interdisciplinary program at CU College of Arts and Sciences.
He contributed to the Dairy Arts Center renovation and design. In 2020, he became an honorary University of Colorado Law School alumni. He has been a member of two Boulder Rotary clubs.
